Miles Morales returns for the next chapter in the Oscar winning Spider-Verse saga, an epi adventure that takes Brooklyns friendly Spider-Man into the multiverse and joins Gwen Stacy and the new Spider-Man team. People will face a villain they never knew.

Miles Morales is Spider-Man. He may not be the best or only Spider-Man. (I mean, his past experience with other Spider-Men, Spider-Women, and Spider-Machines in the multiverse has taught him this.) But he's certainly grown in the two years since he was first bitten by a radioactive spider. He is a hero in his own right.
Of course, being a hero isn't always easy. I mean, it's a challenge trying not to disappoint his parents, keeping his grades up in school, and making sure no one knows he's been slipping out the window in spandex every night. But he's still the best 15-year-old superhero you'll ever meet.
At least, that's how he sees it.
But then Gwen Stacy came for a visit.
Gwen, you'll recall, is actually Spider-Gwen from Earth-65, a different multiverse version of Miles' own world. She helped him in the past. And Miles might have a little crush on her and a notebook full of pictures of her pretty face under his bed. (But we don't need to talk about that.)
Anyway, Gwen shows up and is overjoyed to see her again. But then Miles accidentally learns that Gwen is there at the behest of a new spider society. This group of multiverse Spider-Men are tasked with keeping the interconnected multiverse free of problematic anomalies. Gwen is sent to Miles' world to capture a man named The Spot.
It's cool, even if Miles thinks the inter dimensional bad guy is more of a fool than a threat. But what really bothers him is that this spider society has never contacted him! I mean, he's the resident Spider-Man and all.

The ability he tells Miles is 'because the group only has a limited number of special members. But, come on, their base is filled with hundreds of Spider-People. Maybe thousands of them.
